The Christmas tree is up and the spirits are high at Arizona Homestead. Every year we enjoy this festive transformation to turn our home into a winter wonderland! Holiday traditions bring quality of life to each of us in the care home. As I grab my guitar and sing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer with our residents, smiles, clapping and joy fill the room. I’m confident that having quality of life in assisted living requires a commitment to activities that encourage us to remember our “good-old-days.” The bright lights, the familiar songs, the heart warming movies and the beloved Christmas sugar cookies slathered in an array of brightly colored frosting, work together to make this time of the year special.
