Under supervisory care, no hands-on personal care is needed. Your loved one will still care for themselves with one of our caregivers supervising.
Level Two Care: Personal
Under the second level of care, your loved one will receive a deeper level of help with daily activities. In addition to meal preparation, we will also provide support for basic grooming and dressing, as well as medication management and mobility assistance.
Typically, those who have full cognitive function but limited motor skills are found at this level of care. They are capable of making informed decisions but have other factors limiting their ability to care for themselves.
Level Three Care: Directed
Directed care is the highest level of care offered at Arizona Homestead. This type of care is typically given to those experiencing some level of cognitive impairment, such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, or stroke.
Directed care is best for someone who cannot make safe and reasonable decisions for themselves. At this level, full assistance can be provided for all daily activities, including mobility and transferring. Under directed care, residents are unable to fully care for themselves, so our certified caregivers help them with any task that is needed. Memory care is also offered at this level.
