As I look at my calendar for the month of December I’m struck buy such a large number of parties. There’s 2 with my church, a few more with community affiliations and a couple in my business. And after all these we have multiple gatherings with family and extended family. This time of year seems to bring out the party animal in all of us. I’m looking forward to these times to reconnect with friends and hopefully build new relationships in my community.
At Arizona Homestead we love parties! As we plan our year we get excited about the themes and holidays we will celebrate.
Every February we have our annual Arizona Homestead hoedown to celebrate La Fiesta de Los Vaqueros.
Springtime themes include a Broadway Musical and Cinco de Mayo celebration.
Summers bring monthly happy hours that include a beach party, Mexican fiesta, and a patriotic theme.
Our Fall 50’s Party is one of my favorites as we dress up in our fifties garb and sing some amazing songs from that time in history.
And finally to celebrate Christmas together with all the sights and sounds and flavors.
Each of these celebrations brings our community together and strengthens our relationships with one another. This is one way we keep our commitment to provide outstanding elderly care.

I want to invite you to join us this Saturday, December 15 at 11am for a very special Christmas party. Heidi Trask, our manager at the Ocotillo House, has been able to get her Polish dancing group,
Lajkonick Polish Dance Group in Tucson
to perform at our Christmas party. We are so excited to have them dancing in our backyard this year and we will all enjoy the sights and sounds of Polish dancing.
We also will have our friends, the McDonald’s family perform for us for us and lead us in some Christmas carols. They are a gifted musical family who love to share their talents with our community.

I hope to see you there!
